I found yoga in a book on my mother’s bookshelf when I was a little girl. I saw the pictures and tried making the shapes with my body and had so much fun! My favorite was going upside down. I took my first in-person yoga class at my college gym, and I immediately knew it would be an important part of my life. Not only did it help me pay attention to my body in a kind and connected way (not the norm for an eighteen-year-old girl!) but I always left class with a sense of calm, ready to be the best version of me that day.

Since then, yoga has brought me to some of my favorite places and people. I have practiced all sorts of different styles, including Baptiste, Hot Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Flow, but my favorite is Stråla Yoga, a movement-based lighthearted flow where the focus is on moving naturally and following your intuition.

Private Yoga

Did you ever leave a yoga class feeling like it just wasn’t exactly what you wanted? I love the feeling of community in group classes, but in a private session it’s much more of a conversation between you and your guide. You can change and modify in real time to get more of what feels good.

Your session can take place in your home, in a studio, in a park, or even virtually if you have access to a webcam and skype!

Email me today to set up your private session!

Pop-ups and Events

Whether it’s yoga on a farm, in a brewery, or in a studio, yoga classes can be a big draw. Let me help bring some flow to your next event!

I’ve taught yoga in salt spas for groups of 3 or 4 people, and I’ve taught yoga at fundraisers for several hundred people at a time. Every time it is a unique and beautiful experience.

Yoga and wellness doesn’t have to be a part of our life we do before the sun rises, or after work, just to stay healthy. It can be a part of our larger lives.

Email to book me for your next event, or subscribe to my mailing list to stay up-to-date on special classes I’m doing around town!
